Community
Our Community
Our team members are encouraged and supported to volunteer their time and skills with our cause partner, The Big Issue, or fundraising for other charities they care about. Small donations of product to other charities is an important connection to the communities in which we work.
Community Engagement
Workwear Group partners with select charitable and community organisations as we believe it is important to give back to the communities we operate in.
The Big Issue
Workwear Group’s corporate cause partner is The Big Issue, a not-for-profit that helps people experiencing marginalisation, disadvantage or are at-risk of homelessness. Workwear Group has supported The Big Issue through monetary investment, magazine distribution and sales, skilled and unskilled volunteering and work opportunities at our distribution centre for their Women’s Workforce.
CareerTrackers
CareerTrackers is a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to improve representation of First Nations People in the professional workforce. They do this by connecting First Nations university students to leading organisations across a range of industries and providing meaningful internships. CareerTrackers also offers coaching and networking opportunities to support ongoing student career advancement and opportunities with host organisations. Workwear Group has so far offered three internship rotations across various departments in partnership with CareerTrackers.
